久し振りにホルンをいつでも練習できる様に新たな楽器を買った。
It’s been a while since I bought a new instrument so I can practice the horn whenever I want.
しかし！ポケットトランペットを買ってしまった。
but! I bought a pocket trumpet.
しかもサイレントブラスまで。
And even silent brass.
ハッキリ言おう！
Let’s say it clearly!
35年ホルンと付き合っているが・・一向にうまくならない。
I’ve been playing the horn for 35 years, but it never gets better.
おそらくうまいの概念が違うのだ。
Perhaps the concept of good is different.
そこで新たな作戦は手元に置いていつでも吹ける様に。
So keep the new strategy handy so you can play it anytime.
譜面をみて運指をさらって体で覚えるのは辞め。
I’ve stopped trying to memorize the fingerings by looking at the sheet music.
楽譜を見ずに自分の思うがまま楽器を操れるようになるのが目的。
The goal is for students to be able to play the instrument as they wish without looking at sheet music.
いわゆる口笛の様に楽器を奏でる練習を考えている。
I’m thinking of practicing playing an instrument like whistling.
おそらく運指はB♭なので覚えればホルンでもできるだろう。 と思う。
The fingering is probably B♭, so if you learn it, you can probably do it on the horn as well. I think so.
